To Meet Your Needs
About the Services I Offer
Whenever you know it’s time to access your own potential, there is no one-size-fits-all formula.
That’s why the variety of transformative services I offer reflects what I have learned over the course of a lifetime: the best strategy will always be as individual as you are.
Even for a given individual, the modality that is most powerful at one time will be different than the best one to use under different circumstances. Sometimes the precise personalization of one-on-one work will be most effective. Other times a group process or workshop may contain the elements that make all the difference. Some people like to work face-to-face while others prefer downloads that allow them to work at home or at times of day most convenient to their schedule. Some learn best by reading, others by listening, still others by watching. For some people, growth is augmented when it has a distinctly spiritual orientation, while for others it is more a matter of rolling up the sleeves and making practical changes.
With Access Your Potential, I am ready to meet you where you are and help you get to the next level of well-being, success, health and happiness.
Hypnosis is a very pleasant and natural state that involves relaxation of the body and mind, with resultant heightening of mental ability to focus and set desired directions in life.
Hypnosis allows us to access a very creative, powerful and wise part of the mind that stands ready and willing to help us achieve beneficial life goals and make changes that promote greater well-being.
Life coaching is a partnership designed to create strategies for your success. First we bring crystal clarity to your personal and/or professional goals. Then we identify resources that will move you toward your desired outcomes and together develop a personalized action plan to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.
As the client, you take responsibility for making the changes that improve your life, while the coaching relationship brings motivation, structure and accountability to your process of attainment.
The spiritual path presents an interesting puzzle. The awakening that starts us off originates in our most personal, interior spaces, yet ultimately it is a path that cannot be walked solo. Because the path in its essence is a journey from fragmentation to wholeness, it is largely in and through relationships that our growth occurs.
Some people are fortunate enough to have a group of fellow-travelers who can be a source of support, inspiration, and fresh perspectives that spur further growth.
Neuro-linguistic work deals with the way our inner sensory experience and the language we use to give it form together create patterns of thought, feeling and behavior.
The “neuro” part of the term relates to our internal experience of seeing, hearing and feeling, as well as how our neurology is “wired” to experience these phenomena. The “linguistic” part of the term relates to the language with which we give meaning to the experience mediated by our neurology.
There is a basic life force that flows through all living things and is connected to the breath. This force is sometimes called “subtle energy.” The Chinese call it chi or qi and it is central to such Chinese medicine practices as acupuncture, acupressure and Qigong (literally, "energy work" or "energy cultivation"). The Japanese call it ki (as in Reiki). In other Eastern traditions the word for this energy is prana. Interestingly, in the Judeo-Christian scriptures, the same word can be translated as both "spirit" and "breath," which suggests that this tradition also knew about this “subtle energy” that flows through the body and is related to the breath.
Break a Habit
Our minds have a marvelous capacity to adopt automatic programs of behavior. Most of the time this works in our favor. The subconscious mind turns tasks we once laboriously practiced into things we can do without even having to think about it.
Imagine what it would be like to have to calculate precisely how to find your mouth with a spoon every time you ate, or consciously re-establish your balance each time you lifted a foot to take a step forward! Your deeper mind is a habit-making master and you can be glad that it is.
Master Your Stress
It’s common knowledge that stress is rampant and that it is at least one component of almost every ill known to humankind. When we are “stressed out,” our relationships suffer; our performance at work is compromised; we’re more likely to have accidents; emotional states like overwhelm, anger, sadness, and anxiety can take over our lives; memory may falter alarmingly; our health is in jeopardy.
Yet everywhere we look, there seem to be more stressors.
